The white femme flattened her ears at Yukan's response, and she gave a hesitating nod. With that, a smile curved up on her lips as she eyed the dying bull. When Yukan spoke again, she exhaled and gave another short nod. He was right, it would be difficult to haul the kill back to the den. Maybe if more pack members came, they could haul it together, but that would put the pups in risk. It would be better if they came over to eat their part, and once finished, they could carry the left overs back to the den. Her azure gaze settled back on Yukan, and she gave a short smile as she lifted her narrow muzzle to the darkening sky. Her vocals realeased a loud yet soothing howl that could surely be heard from the den. When she finished her tune, Rain lowered her head and sat down. Her eyes began scanning the area, in case some other creatures might start being lured in by the scent of the dead bull. She also kept her ears alert for any sounds or replies from the den, and every couple of minutes, she would give Yukan a glance to check if he's still doing fine. The pain in his ribs may worsen with time.

Yukan eyed Rain as he heard her soft howl that traveled through the air. He sat back down and lowered his head towards the dying bull. The pain had worsened now that he had calmed down from the hunt. He'd never been kicked so hard in his life, and it had shocked him. The male clenched his teeth together and let out a grin in attempts to hide the pain he was feeling. He tilted his head slightly as he glanced back at the bull. It had stopped breathing, but he wanted to wait for the pack to get to the carcass before he began to eat. His ears perked up as he decided to join Rain in the continuous watch for any scavengers, prey or other dangers that might be lurking around. His stomach hit the soft ground as he stretched his legs out.

He scanned the wide open plains as his ears moved in the direction of any sounds that were made. They were close to the forest, so they were hopefully too far away for any of the nearby tribe members to come and steal the kill. The scent of the dead buffalo was arousing. It had been awhile since he'd last had fresh buffalo meat, for it was almost impossible for one wolf to take down a buffalo without getting injured. But he kept himself on high alert. In his current condition, he wouldn't be able to move fast without much pain. Perhaps he should ask Rain if she had any remedies to at least minimize the pain? This was a good time to ask her what he had in mind awhile ago.

"Rain, when we return to the den, mind teaching me a few basic medicine treatments for minor wounds? And perhaps..." the male cut off. He wasn't sure whether bringing up the pain would be best at the time. They couldn't be caught unaware. He decided to ask her about his injury later. He smiled sheepishly and then murmured with his rough accent, "Never mind. Let's continue to stay alert until the others come by."

Raven paced ahead, now seeing the two wolves in sight. They sat in front of a great carcass, a big one at that. He was amazed that only two wolves managed to bring down the beast, it was very hard to bring down a bull such as that, even if it was weaker than the others. He walked up to the two, nodded in greeting. The Wetnurse did not dare to put Eden down though. The fields made him feel nervous, and it did not help with the ravens circling ahead. "We came to help bring back the kill." Raven announced, mumbling through Eden's fur. "We met a wolf at the river who wished to join out pack. He is strong and I figured he could help carry the carcass... I-If that's okay with you..."

Eden had been running beside the River, giggling her heart out when all of a sudden, she was scooped up. At first the pup thought she was actually flying, silly her, right? It turned out Raven had got her. She didn't understand what the problem was, until she was him. The male across the river. He could have easily gotten Eden, and murder her, for she was just frail thing.

Now, Eden swung from Raven's jaws, staring at the new place with wide eyes. She was a bit cautious at the time, seeing that being hyper and playful wasn't really..right at the moment. Raising her head, she licked Raven's neck fur happily, thanking him silently for..well..saving her?

Yukan turned to see Raven with Eden hanging between his jaws. He smiled and nodded, greeting the black male. He was sitting down in a slightly awkward position for his side hurt greatly. His tail swayed across the ground as his golden optics eyed the two. His ears pushed forward as Raven mentioned a new member. It would be good to have more reliable pack members and he wasn't to worried. He barked out, "I'd like to meet him. We should probably wait for Naomi before we move the carcass though, she'll want to know about the new wolf."

The queen moved silently and quickly through the dying grass. As the weather grew colder the grass grew more brown and the herds moved further out. She was sort of surprised the two had found the herd so quickly, but also proud of them. Naomi raised her head above the grass, spotting the clan further out. She stepped forward and was greeted by a growl. The fae slowly turned around and came nose to nose with a dog, their domesticated cousins. She laid her ears back and growled slightly. The dogs were much taller, slimmer, and faster, but no where near as strong. Naomi stepped back and sniffed the air, he was the only dog probably lost during a hunt. She quickly snapped back from her thoughts as she felt jaws wrap around her leg. The queen yelped and latched down on the back of the dog's neck.

Rain flicked her tail, and licked around her chops to help clean off the blood stains that remained around her narrow muzzle. With that, she was beginning to crave some buffalo flesh, but she wanted to wait for everyone to arrive, so that they may have their share first. One of her ears perked when Yukan spoke to her. She let her small maw drop slightly open as she was about to respond, but then he added a few more words, "Never mind. Let's continue to stay alert until the others come by."

Rain gave a short nod, and smiled ever so slightly. She would bring up the subject about teaching him a few things of a Mender when everything was settled. By the way, he has taught Rain a few things about hunting, even if he didn't notice it himself.
It took only a short while for the first member to arrive; a lean obsidian black male, with a creamy pup hanging from his maw. Her ears perked up, and she stood, giving a short nod to them. Her eyes landed on the honey hued pup, and she gave a warm smile. Rain made sure to introduce herself later, but for now, she was more focused on the male's words. A newcomer? When Yukan replied, she went along with it and gave an agreeing nod. Suddenly, her body tensed at the sound of growls. She huffed, and gave the air a whiff, until she heard yet another growl. She recognized the voice and tone of her Queen, making her white sleek fur stand on end. She looked to her companions, hoping they heard as well.

Acke followed Raven and Ashoka from the river. He padded after Raven more slowly. He could have kept up, but he didn't want to leave Ashoka behind. And he still wanted to keep her within his line of vision. When Raven came back into view, the dark brute's eyes widened. Two wolves, a white fae and a greyish colored brute had taken down a large bull buffalo. Lowering his head shyly, he approached the wolf pack. He cursed himself for being timid. After he pulled together a bit of confidence, the brute straightened himself. Raven and the other two seemed to be eyeing him. He turned to the new wolves. "I am Acke," he said, his accent thick. Uncertain of his surroundings, he waited for the reaction of the wolves.

Ashoka followed Raven, staying next to Acke. The male seemed to be holding back from going forward, which made her happy that he didn't leave her behind. Ashoka took special care that there was some space between her and Acke, seeing as her fur lightly brushed his for a second before and she didn't want it to happen again. The fae kept her sapphire blue orbs on the ground, thinking of what the day has held so far. Once the four of them reached the other two wolves, she stared at the huge buffalo that was on the ground. With the scent of it, her stomach growled again, a little louder this time, and Ashoka winced, hoping none of the others had heard. When Ashoka heard the growls of her Queen and what sounded like a dog, basing on the tones and vibrations, the fae turned to the noise and quickly ran to the source.

Yukan's ears flickered as he saw the new, dark colored brute coming right behind Raven. Ashoka was right behind him as well. He was glad to see the pack slowly drifting in for the meal, and was even happier that it looked like they could drag as much of the carcass possible closer to the den site. He pushed himself onto his feet and stepped forward. His tail was swaying back in forth in a friendly manner, and his eyes soft. With a quick dip of his head, he barked out to the new black male, "Welcome. I am Yukan..." the male cut off.

Yukans ears pushed forward as he swiftly glanced towards Rain. He felt her mood change. The sudden scent of Naomi nearby, and a canine that he didn't recognize caused his fur to bristle and his eyes to narrow. He bore his teeth lightly until he saw a flash of fur pass him. Ashoka was already heading towards the source of the sound. Despite the pain, he flung his body forward and followed her. However, he was stumbling forward and knew that the others would probably reach her before him. But his instincts kept him limping forward. He knew the others would quickly follow after Ashoka and him, so he didn't bother to turn his head.

Acke watched as Ashoka ran towards a suspicious sound. The scent of a canine and another wolf that smelled strangely like these came from nearby. The male named Yukan ran after and the white fae looked as if she were about to follow. He didn't know what the sound was, but it made his pelt prickle. As Yukan limped after Ashoka, he was clearly hurt. Acke felt the urge to follow, but he was unsure. Would these wolves allow him to help them? He shoved his ears forward to get a better idea of waht the sound was. But it didn't come again.

Axel took a step towards where the other wolves had gone, and then started to trot after them. His pace slowly sped up. He hoped the white fae would follow, and not think him rude.

Raven had scented the canine near Naomi, as well as watch as first Ashoka...then Yukan and Acke. It was now just Rain, Eden and Raven, standing near the carcass. He decided to stay where he was though, if there was a dog, then Eden may be in danger. It may have been cowardly, but he dare to not go near then scent. So instead he just prayed that everyone would be alright.

Naomi had ripped the dog off of her leg and was in no mood to play. She lunged at the dog, tackling it to the ground, but not before its teeth got a hold on her injured shoulder. The queen let out a slight yelp at the shearing pain, but stayed focus. She bit down on the dog's throat, causing it to let go, but she didn't. The dog whimpered and kicked, scratching at her stomach, but the domestic canine was no match for her wild strength. She felt the dog go limp and she released her grip. She then heard movement in the brush behind her. The fae turned her dull gaze on the grass and let out a fierce snarl, which quickly cut off once she saw it was just her clan members.

Imogen stood on a small hill, watching the scene unfold from where she was. More dogs would have been coming, she could see at least..three more, but when they heard their fellow dog whimper, they knew they shouldn't approach. So they ran, back to their...village. But Imogen knew the humans would come next if these wolves didn't hurry and beat it.
Arching an eyebrow, Gen's eyes scanned the clearing, spotting wolves run towards the ebon female who had been fighting the now deceased dog in the first place.
Perhaps I should go down there...tell 'em that they were in danger now...Imogen thought, perking her ears slightly. But she didn't. She just stood there, watching curiously. she'd howl in warning if she spotted any humans. I may not know these wolves, but I wasn't going to just stand here and watch 'em die....

Raven stood there practically shacking, hearing the yelps and barks of Naomi and the dog... but then, it was silent. The black furred male sighed with relief and began walking towards the rest. He emerged from a bush and stood behind everyone, with Eden in his jaws. 'What an experience she is having...' Raven thought looking down at the dangling pup.

Raven felt like they were being watched, which is not a very pleasant feeling... he gazed at everyone wide-eyed, hoping that the carcass would be carried back shortly, so they could all get out of this place.

Ashoka looked from the Queen to the dead dog. She was upset with herself for not being able to get there faster, but she was also sad that the fight had to result to death. The fae understood that the dog would have killed any of the pack members, including herself, if given the chance, but she felt bad for it. It's what those stupid humans have done to them to make them so cold hearted. Ashoka did not approve of Naomi Lynn's decision to kill it, but there was really nothing to be done. The fight was over. She sighed and thought, 'I should give it a proper burial. I'll come back later tonight when everyone's asleep, but now I have to help carry the carcass back to the den.' Ashoka looked to her Queen, "Are you alright?"

Yukan stumbled rgiht behind Ashoka, his golden optics fixed on the smaller deceased dog. He sighed in relief and let himself fall back onto his flank. It looked like Naomi suffered only minor scratches, so Yukan had no worries. Panting heavily, he sat there, watching both Naomi and Ashoka. His tail was curled between his legs in reaction to the throbbing pain he felt along his side. His ribs were bruised for certain, and it wasn't a good idea to move around much. Thankfully, his hunger was even greater and he was happy to know that the pack was going to eat soon. He turned his attention onto Ashoka as they questioned the Queen. Soon after, Yukan barked out, questioning her further, "No major injuries, right?"

The males ears flickered as his nose twitched. A light breeze carried an odd scent from a far. He turned his head, his eyes quickly scanning the open plains. He could see nothing, but the feeling of a strangers presence ran through him. He pushed himself onto his feet and circled around the two for a few seconds, his ears pushed forward and eyes sharp. A low growl escaped him, for he wasn't sure of what it was.

Acke smelled the stench of humans on the carcass of the dog. This female wolf seemed to be te Queen that these wolves had talked about. And for some reason, he felt worried for her. Hanging off to the side, he watched as the wolves crowded around her. He waited patiently for them to notice him, his sea green eyes flickering between each wolf.

Imogen tilted her head to the side slightly as a breeze blew past her. Mm, seems these wolves..know I'm here..but they can't spot me? How..interesting... Laying on her belly, she continued to watch them, though every know and then she'd slide her crimson colored eyes away, to stare at the splotches of dogs who were fleeing. Aha, they run quite slow! Throwing her head back, she let out a rich laugh. Little things like that amused her.
Sighing, she laughter ceased as she heard a brute..growl? Smirking, she got up, stepping away from the large bush she lay beside and began walking down the hill. These wolves were a bit far away, so it'd be a little walk to get to them.

Huffing, she stopped where she stood and tilted her head. Did I just hear horses? Ah, let us hope not..flicking a tail, she watched the horizon once before her red eyes went back to the group of wolves. Aw, there's a lil' fillette! So adorable! She cooed to herself.

Naomi Lynn looked at the two, watching Yukan move around them, "I'm fine~" She looked back at the dog and whimpered ever so slightly. She didn't like the thought of killing their 'cousins', but what choice did she have? Not only was he hurting her, but if she let him go he could of gotten others. The Queen sighed and laid her ears back, no longer feeling so chipper or kind, "Come, let us hurry and eat or move it before anything else happens."

Ashoka looked at Naomi Lynn with gratitude. The Queen seemed to feel bad for the dog's death as well, which pleased her. All life was sacred, and she dared not kill unless it was for food purposes. Which is what humans lacked. Not only did they kill for great amounts of food, but they also killed just for fun, which made Ashoka physically sick. "The rest of you should take care of the buffalo carcass over there, whether you plan to eat it right there or move it to the den. I will give the dog a proper burial, if you don't mind. There's a new male called Acke that wishes to join. And it also looks as if we have the company of yet another estranged wolf." Ashoka looked to the new white fae who was walking towards them from the corner of her eye. She felt nervous that Eden was in the middle of all this. Raven should take her back to the den, just in case.

As the others began to move back towards the carcass, Yukan stayed there, his expression alert. The male lifted his muzzle towards the sky and scented the air. There was definitely a stranger nearby. He wondered why they haven't shown themselves. Are they friendly? Are they on the humans side? His fur rustled up slightly. He was injured, and by instinct, he grew very nervous. His tail arose as he turned back to face the two walking off. He bore his teeth lightly and followed them, his eyes diverting behind him every few steps. He stopped again as he saw a white figure from a distance away coming towards them. His tail flickered in anticipation.

He turned to face the white female who grew closer every moment. The expression on her face didn't seem to be that of a threat, so he calmed down slightly. His ears flickered as he noticed the stranger stop for a moment, her ears tilting. Did she hear something they didn't? He shook it off, his golden eyes locked onto the sleek, white female. He wondered what Naomi would do. There were several new wolves who suddenly appeared within the territory.

Raven's eyes flickered over to Yukan, who seemed to be focusing on something. Curious, Raven turned to where the male was looking and spotted a white fae in the distance approaching them. Raven flicked his ears in response. "Miss Naomi..." Raven mumbled walking over to the queen, Eden still in his jaws. Naomi didn't look in the happiest of mood, which made the black haired wolf a little nervous, but either way he still decided to tell her. "It seems we have another wolf approaching us..."

Imogen felt her gaze being pulled back towards the horizon, where the dogs had been running away. Where were all the humans? Huffing, she rolled her shoulders before she red orbs caught those of the Clan once more. They didn't seem to..really enjoy my..presence. Feeling a bubble of a small chuckle slip through her maw, she began walking towards them once more. Let's do hope none try being unpropitious...Feeling the dry grass in between her toes, she sucked in a breath as she got closer. Closer. And Closer. She could see them so clearly now...Their shapes, sizes, faces, eyes...

Deciding that this was as far as she'd go, she plopped down, the grass tickling her lower section.
Well..how shall I do this? Shaking her head helplessly, she shrugged to herself...I suppose there's no..right or wrong way..."Bonjour, il semble que vous avez eu vous-mêmes un peu de mal ..."
Before she could stop herself, to try an' translate her words to them, her own words slipped out, her being french now obviously.
