Raven was shocked, 'Why was he so mad?!' He thought desperately. Naomi, Ashoka, and him all already knew Prihor was back at the camp. He was hidden deep within the queens den, mostly likely napping away. It wasn't his fault the others didn't know. Were tribes always so easily angered like this? Either way Raven himself didn't say this out loud, to say that they didn't need to worry. Without hesitation Raven plowed his face into the ground, the whites of his eyes flickering while he lay on his back in utter embarrassment and submission. A small yelp emmited from him, afraid the wolf may strike him. But something inside himself wanted him to growl, to stand up and face forward, but Raven didn't let it happen.

After the larger wolf prodded off to Yukan and spoke, Raven slowly stood up, staring at the two with just a hint of hate. Hate for others ignorance and easily provoked nature. If only other loners haven't stumbled on by, Raven never expected to stay out here for this long of a time. If everything went how it was supposed to go, to simply bring the tribe together to eat...was that too much to ask?

Soon Raven was clicking his teeth in fear, overhearing the conversation. He tilted his head, wasn't it Ashoka's and his job protecting the pups? Why are they ignoring the actual Wetnurses here!? He lowered his head in disbelief... 'They are questioning my own position...' He thought sadly.

But...it was his fault...because higher wolves said so and that automatically makes him wrong...Raven was in no place to question, even though he fought to. Instead of being angry, his mood slowly dropped to that of pure sadness. He had to live with the fact that he would never be respected nor trusted. He would not fight back... or explain the situation, instead Raven will willingly take all the blame like the little scrap he is.

The brute tipped his maw respectfully once more. "Very well," he grumbled so low that nobody else could hear. He walked past the buffalo; he was not hungry. He walked past Raven; he wasn't exactly mad at or happy with him. He walked solidly past all the wolves. He walked into the buffalo herd. The large brute deer didn't even look his way, for they had read his peaceful body language. But Fax was not, most definitely not, at peace. Those...! They didn't care! They think a den is the most perfect hiding place! I'd think better if the pup were in the wood! At least there would be some chance of escape, some chance of pickup, but, in a den, the thing just goes deeper, and no way out. And don't you think those bipods can dig? The hunting dogs can kill? And they will war against wolves if they had a chance? Like now?

Shadowfax shook his head and marched on. Ridiculous fellas. They had no other troop, of what Fax could figure. He shook his head again. Suddenly, Fax exploded into a gallop. He was going to see just exactly what the idiots were doing.

Stefano watched everyone run about, Naomi going off to investigate a howl, and Yukan inviting everyone to come and eat. The wolf was unsure if he should go and eat himself, as he had not exactly been accepted yet. But he was hungry, and the others seemed to be friendly towards him. Why not? he thought, and took a step forward, but stopped when he saw a large male approach Raven and question him. Stefano couldn't help but to overhear part of what the wolf said. A pup? At the den? he thought. Fano stopped as the larger wolf began to yell. The brown-pelted wolf took a step back. Yikes... He watched with hazel eyes as Shadowfax then padded over to Yukan, the brute whom Stefano had spoken with before. After the two spoke, he noticed Yukan turn and head in the direction Naomi Lynn had gone. Stefano sat down, a bit intimidated by what had just happened, and decided not to eat after all. Instead he looked over at Raven, who was laying down alone. Stef took a cautious step towards the black wolf. "Uh...y-you-a okay?" he asked quietly, not wanting to upset him even further.

Shadowfax panted as he exploded through the grass. He was so near the pack now... He didn't know where the bipeds had gone, but they had had to go somewhere. He stopped just short of where the pack was to catch his breath. He inhaled in and out slowly, blinking his coal-black eyes. Slowly, his heartbeat went back to normal. He walked to where the pack was, and rumbled, "Bipeds coming this way with spears." He stopped to catch his breath. The wind blew into his face, and he realized that the bipeds were downwind from the pack. "We are upwind from them, but when I saw them they didn't have any dogs, so they shouldn't be able to smell us. But they are coming towards this place." Shadowfax walked away from the group. He found a chunk of meat almost off the carcasse and ripped it off. Then he walked into the grasses and lay down to enjoy his meal in peace.

Raven shut his eyes, wishing his senses would just disappear and never return. Still, he has been through worse before, it was nothing new. The wolf took a deep breath, lifting his head from the ground to come into the eyes of Stefano, the new wolf he has met just moments before. When the accented wolf asked if he was okay, Raven nodded somewhat depressed. He was fine, the moment would pass as it always had in the past. Still...he never forgot. Without looking at the wolf Raven stood back up. He was thankful that the wolf asked that for him, he didn't always receive that kindness. "Thanks..." Raven told the wolf, "I'm fine."

Rain seemed to zone out a bit, but some her senses were still sharp. Her orbs landed on what seemed to be Yukan, taking off in a different direction. Then, there was Shadowfax, taking the opposite. The lean female chuffed and pulled herself together. Naomi has just recently put her and Yukan and charge, but now it was just her here. Rain examined everyone, and noticed that some did not eat, neither did she. The white femme walked over to the carcass and lowered her upper body and began tearing a large mass of carcass. As she succesfully ripped it off, she hauled it and stopped, lifting her head to see Shadowfax returning with a concerned look. He spoke of "bipeds", and then simply took a chunk of flesh from the carcass and sat a distance away.

The Queen has not yet returned, and she guessed that Yukan has went after her to provide assistance. Now, the Indians were heading this way, but are they directly looking for them? Or are they just passing by and taking what they can? At the moment, none of it matters, as long as they don't see them. Rain looked at the remaining members, and chuffed. They had to get back, or at least start heading back. "The Queen has not returned yet, and it seems like Yukan has gone looking for her. Shadowfax has just said that the spearmen are coming, and it's best if we start heading back to the den as soon as possible." she said clearly with a sincere voice. The femme then placed a paw over the large carcass she ripped off, and spoke again, "Please take what you can carry." she added and lowered her head to the portion of the carcass, and slightly picked it up. Rain then began the way back to the den, but waited patiently for the everyone else as the chunk of carcass hung low from her maw.

Fax leaped up from his "bed" in the grass. He listened to Rain speak, then walked over to the carcasse. He tore the pelvis, along with the two back legs, off. It was very heavy, and he stumbled slightly, but slowly, he straightened his legs. His stout legs locked in, and he was able to carry the heavy meat. His ankle pained, and he remembered the spear, flying through and grazing his leg. He fought back that thought, ignoring the pain. Fax let the chunk, with the legs sticking out, drag along the ground as he waiting for the pack to gather to go to the den.

Raven dipped his head, it seemed that everyone was starting to head back now. He watched as the more muscular wolf tore off pieces of the carcass, his jaws making short work of the meat. His eyes flicked, he would not be of much use in carrying, he simply didn't have the strength to. But that's okay the male reassured himself, Raven would have to carry Eden back anyways. Besides, with the amount of wolves still here, bringing all the parts of it back would not be a problem. Once more Raven gave his thanks to Stefano and then stood on his four legs, switching his gaze onto the surrounding wolves.

Stefano perked his ears as he heard Shadowfax's voice again. Bipeds? With spears? The wolf was about to ask about what these so-called bipeds were, when Raven said something. Fano looked down at the black-hued wolf. "Oh, no problem" he replied. Alright, now I'll ask he thought, but before he could, Rain spoke. Stefano gave a small nod of his head, and padded away from Raven and towards the carcass. Just as he got there, he saw Shadowfax carrying a large hunk of meat with him. Whoa...he must be a pretty strong wolf... he thought. Stefano took his eyes off the troop and looked at the carcass, trying to find a good piece to rip off. Once he found it, he lowered his muzzle, and sank his teeth into the animal's flesh. The brute tried not to let himself drool at the thought of meat in his mouth; he wasn't supposed to eat this yet. He looked around at all the others, trying to distract himself from what he was carrying. He did manage to get his mind off of it a bit, but not his stomach. A muffled chuckle escaped his jaws as his stomach growled. Be quiet he said to himself.

Raven was shaking, he was literally shaking...'Tribe...' He thought fearfully. As Shadowfax went on, the black haired wolf felt his pupil's dilating until they became nothing more than a black sphere. His body suddenly felt cold, his pads becoming numb under his body. Taking a deep breath to calm himself, he went to prod Ashoka in her side. "H-hey.." Raven again, "Is it alright if you accompany me to take Eden back...?"

Many thoughts and worries roamed through Ravens head as he requested Ashoka to follow him. Right now he just wanted to leave and get Eden back to the den site. He couldn't go alone, in fear of being caught and not being able to defend the little tawny she pup. His mind race, pleading everyone to hurry, and his body still shaking.

Shadowfax sniffed the breeze that came through, ruffling everybody's fur. He put his piece of meat down for the moment, then let his bloodied maw form words. "The Queen and Yukan are back at the Den. Let's move quickly. May I go ahead?" He then picked up his huge hunk and began trotting on his stout strong legs to the den site, the back legs of the bison dragging along the ground. The cut in his ankle pained, but still he drove himself on.
